oh no – snow!

February 10, 2021

if I don’t look out the window does it mean it’s not snowing?

the birds are stocking up and the Japanese plum blossoms are just about to burst

teddies are cuddling under Tiny Teddy’s new blankie

Gilbert is wearing his new silk scarf

and I am weaving tapestry beside the fire

it’s not staying – yet!

I will try adding this link one more time

a good 15 minute video on indigo production in Japan

Kjerstin – hope you are not getting blasted by wind off the Strait. I’m sitting by the fire with the teddies. 🙂

Blasted, yes, but thankful we got a load of wood yesterday so we’ll keep warm even if the power goes out! I am sitting next to the fire with my Hittys!

Snow is forecast for here overnight. So far this week it has been bitterly cold but dry – not so pretty but easier for walking! Your bears are lovely and quite right to snuggle under a blanket – maybe we should do the same?! Stay warm by the fire and son spring will come.

Sue – we too have unusually cold weather and now strong winds. Yes, I am settled down by the fire with lots of fibrey things to do. Stay warm.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
I have covered up the hyacinth that are already showing some colour.

Your bears looks very cozy under their new blanket.

    Stay safe and warm. Kathy

Kathy – I knew you would be doing the happy dance. It’s sticking now and feels like it will continue through the night.
