Christmas 2020

December 11, 2020

time marches on – my advent calendar keeps me aware of what day it is

that’s important when you live alone and never go anywhere

you can lose a week here and there!

Days 7, 8, and 9

Christmas tea, 2 pretty face masks and hand cream and a delicious chocolate bar

son arrived at the door with a stollen he had baked, also delicious

are they trying to fatten me up?

Days 10 and 11

“in her studio” magazine and a soft, warm fleecy top

it fits perfectly – thanks Kathy, I’m wearing it now

I’ve looked at this company’s publications  stampinton.com  at the bookstore but never read one

they do a wide range of magazines featuring arts and crafts

the format and photographs are very nice, I’m enjoying reading about how other people create

now I need to get back to my own creating – there are several things the need finishing

Claire – every day I am amazed at the thought that went into each gift. Definitely a Christmas and a gift like no other.

Kudos belong to Carrie for the sweater. She picked that up for you. James’ stollen was delicious. Carrie and I keep sending him random recipes to bake for us since he is on holidays and I am working and Carrie has another week of her college semester left.
