little things – mean a lot

November 21, 2020

Santa’s elves crept into my front garden

early this morning, while it was still dark

and left me an early Christmas present

they denied it but I know who did it!

(right click to enlarge and you can see who is hanging in the tree)

because they left their paw print (red ball on the left)

thank you, thank you, doggies – I love it!

all the family names are there – with me through the season – out in the garden

they are going to get wet and cold, hope it doesn’t snow

social distancing at it’s most creative

meanwhile, I’ve been practicing how to put the squares together

in blocks of four – so the colours are random

don’t want to leave all the joining until the end and be bored

to the point of retiring it all to the cupboard

the tapestry has been slumbering in a corner

back to work and hoping to finish before the end of the year

“My World” as seen through the small window in the front door

stay safe everyone

Christine – just as long as it doesn’t snow. Nice to hear from you, hope all is well and no doubt you are keeping busy.

I love the buables in the tree, what a splendid idea. I’m joining the crochet blanket as I go in blocks of four, and trying to deal with the ends at th same time.

Cathy – don’t think I would ever finish if I left the joining until the end. I was really touch with the tree decorations – all 19 year old granddaughters idea.
