Kate – a very merry Christmas to you, your husband and Mouse. I’ve really enjoyed your blog friendship this past year and look forward to next years creations. Keeping my fingers crossed for the fire situation, it looks terrifying (my father was a fire chief in a northern logging community. I’ve seen the damage even small fires can cause, praying for Australia.

Thank you so much 🙂 We hope for a change of weather in the next month or so, but meantime the intense heat and strong winds are causing the kind of havoc and damage you can very well imagine…

Kate – we have major fires in the province in the summer but we are spared in Victoria. I can’t imagine how people go on who have lost everything let alone families who have lost loved ones.

Merry Christmas, one-small-stitch, and know that kindness mixed with curiosity (like yours) helps!
