abundance
May 27, 2018
still spinning red Eri silk
spun on a Turkish drop spindle and plied on my wheel
weaving some into the next small tapestry
an overwhelming abundance of colour
the scent of the roses was intoxicating
on to my favorite annual pottery show “Fired Up”
which I thought was the best in years
and, of course, I couldn’t resist bringing home a couple of treasures
an addition to my ceramic village
the Mt. Fuji hairdo caught my attention
there are two sides to every story
because of the placement in the kiln when it was fired
the two sides are very different – part of its charm
both by potter Fredi Rahn from Vancouver

Yes, my emails to you get through, but yours to me are stuck somewhere! I will be on the lookout and see if I can figure out what has happened.

Suzanne – maybe I’m being sent to your junk box?

The silk is quite beautiful; I can’t wait to see it in the tapestry. I sent an email re: tea towels, but worry that you didn’t get it.

Suzanne – I received your email and sent a reply. We seem to be having email problems. I will get the towels in the post this week and send you a paypal invoice.
