ready or not I’m in the studio for the weekend
just move the vacuum
for some reason I can’t quite explain it was important to finish my self-portrait for today
the ends are stitched and it is mounted
for my 75th birthday
me and the Queen – but she is older!
now I have to go and tend to business

the self portrait is perfect!! a grand happy belated birthday. my vacuum is laying around everywhere; i don’t even try to hide it anymore.

Aimee – congratulations on owning you first house/home. Only the studio got vacuumed, the weather has finally warmed up and I am frantically gardening. Building a deer fence today, they ate all my tulips and have now started on my new little Japanese maple. The vacuum is abandoned in the kitchen. Relax a little – I know that is a tall order – enjoy settling in and getting comfy. Hugs!
