searching for inspiration

almost the end of February and I can’t seem to get up and running/weaving

is it the weather – or a lack of inspiration?

but Spring is arriving

p1110335and hopefully renewed enthusiasm

the February pages are finished

p1110333and new students bring new questions

p1110337threading “log cabin” on the Woolhouse loom

p1110339and on the Le Clerc

p1110327an early Easter basket filled with fibre

p1110320I’ve finished spinning the alpaca/merino and Icelandic/silk

it is amazing how quickly it spins up on the wheel

rather than a spindle – which is far more meditative

marching onward!

seasonal changes get harder as we age. time to slow down and smell the flowers.

Neki – I would so love to smell the flowers but as time gets closer (June 28th) Conference “stuff” is getting more and more time consuming. Just hope I survive.

Even without weaving, you’re keeping very busy and doing wonderful things!

Kerry -I will feel much happier when the conference is over and my time is my own again. Meanwhile, it is back to the tea towels.

Your pages are very inspiring and do not be worried: as I know you, you will spring back soon with new ideas and renowned energy.

Hi Blandina – how are you, are you still stitching? Yes, as the weather changes and the flowers start to bloom I will feel more inspired.

Velma – safe travels, I’ll wave at the sky and send you loving thoughts. The book and I will be waiting for you in June.
