What fun! So many wheels and spinners together. I’m actually surprised we don’t have something of that scale on this side of the Salish Sea. Of course that would mean someone would have to organize it, right? (Not me!)

Louisa – we’ve had it annually for many years, different small groups within the guilds take it on. This year it was Deep Cove guild. They did a great job. Of course it is always the same small group of people that do the work.

Velma – that’s a fun idea but never seen it done, some people are spinning some very serious stuff.

Tobie – the Victoria guild has approx. 160 members. This year the event was hosted by the Deep Cove guild, many members belong to both guilds. People also came from up island and one (that I know of) came from Salt Spring Is. It is always good fun.
