more tea towels – yarns from the stash
the log cabin blocks needed careful attention while threading
the pattern is interesting but it also needs attention while weaving
the studio needs a good clean-up before the weekend tour
the November prayer flag has been a struggle
inspired by the Autumn colours
this is the fourth attempt and it is not what was originally planned
I seem to have hit a creative – and technical wall!
with patterns from the garden the leaves are cut from dyed silks
the camera is doing funny things – and so is the computer
this is my final (and third) attempt at posting
when I hit “publish” everything disappears!!
poppa hummer is all puffed up in the rain
maybe I should join him
keeping my fingers crossed!

Velma – I have a pair of hummer, looking for a nest. It is good to use yarns from the stash and get something nice.

The towels are great! Best of luck with your studio tour. And love the hummie! It’s usually so hard to see the magenta far less photograph it.

Louisa – took the hummer picture through a rain splashed window, he didn’t look very happy.

I’ve been intrigued by the log cabin drafts but haven’t tried it–I’ll wait until I know I can focus, in order to get it right. You have a lot going on right now . . . .

Kerry – log cabin is simple – it is what I start my students on because there are so many different ways to design plain weave. Just have to pay attention.

Neki – cleaning is just a matter of getting down to it. Computers are a whole different aggravation!

Suzanna – hope you are having a good trip, how is the weather. Think the towels will all be the same so will save you a couple. Get in touch when you get home. Safe travels.
