time and the weather
September 19, 2016
it is surprising how much work gets done
when the computer is out of commission – even for a few days
garden clean-up between rain squalls
hitching a ride on the wheelbarrow
I always have a camera in my pocket – even when gardening
the fragile flower
lies broken in the dirt
but
the weaving is finished
and September’s prayer flag is almost done
time to do more stitching and bind the edges
and at the first guild meeting
prize winners from the Fall Fair
Sharon Broadley’s nativity calendar
tiny socks and mitts and sweaters, all with loops to hang on a button
it is good to have the computer back
there is never enough time

Your weaving looks lush and lovely–I love those piles of fabric, just off the loom. And I see your big harvest moon in the flag . . .

Kerry – fresh off the loom is like fresh out of the oven – just not so fattening!

The Hittys would have liked that Nativity calendar! Your prayer flags are so nice…is that the autumn moon?

Kjerstin – the mitts etc. are almost Hitty size, wonderful for little people’s hands too. The moon has been beautiful, happy the sky has been clear enough to see it. Did you solve the reed problem?
