a fresh start

to a bright, sunny new year

with wishes for love, laughter and creative moments

sprinkled with a shower or two

thank you to everyone who visits here

especially to those who take the time to say hello and leave a comment

that’s what keeps me writing

(that red blob in the middle is a selfie – to the left, the hummingbird feeder)

Happy New Year! Late but heartfelt. You always keep me coming back, keep me inspired by the things you do and the way you see the world around you. Thank you.

Happy New Year Jean… I hadn’t seen a post from you for a while, but it looks like I inadvertently unfollowed you – going to correct that right now! I hope you and my weaving friend have dryer 2016s than last year was!

Suzanna – wishing you a happy, healthy and creative new year (more stitched critters?) It is very comforting to be dry again.

hanks Velma – red blobs are the best kind of selfie. several hummingbirds visit, all very busy in the clear cold weather we are experiencing this week.

Kerry – your “rambles” are very wise and beautifully written. Are you thinking of a book??

I laughed out loud when I read that! Goodness, no! I left the pressures of writing for publication behind when I retired from academe. This is all about fun. But thank you for being here and for liking it all.

Blandina – Happy New Year to you, hope you are well and still stitching. Inspiration comes and goes and became a little damp recently but I’m looking forward to happy surprises in the new year.
