a day at the beach at East Sooke park

    I love days spent at the seashore tidepooling. So wish I was there! (BTW that’s an anemone, not a sea urchin. But you knew that, only your typing fingers didn’t, right?) And hey, who needs glasses – you can always swig the wine out of the bottle! 😉 Must check out that shibori book.

      Louisa and Kjerstin – thank you for the correction, it was late when I wrote that and my brain was suffering from a glorious day of sun,sea and sand. Not the wine, Louisa, I had to drive home. I will correct it on the post.

    That beach! Those rock pools! That picnic! What a fabulous day.

      Lis – it is a fabulous place with kilometres of hiking trails,a petroglyph site, a cormorant roost and an old iron mine – but we just sat on the beach and soaked up the sun.
