celebrating in Fujino – how time flies!
three years older
everything was blue
including the silk
and today – Spring in my garden
the bluebells grow like weeds
I thought of you over the weekend. We went to the Hokusai exhibit at the Boston MFA–wonderful art!

Kerry – ooh, how lovely. it is so different and much better when you can see the real work.
Spanish bluebells ARE weeds! Pretty ones though. There are way too many of them in my garden.
Louisa – I have years when I dig them all up, they just come back! Rather them than Japanese anemones.
I rmember that! Great memories of our dyeing trip.
Myra – it was a very memorable workshop
no flowers here yet, though down in town there are daffs–mine are up with fat buds. oh, i forgot, there were red tree blossoms strewn about by the wind. but oh, my, that blue!
Velma – yesterday we had a heat wave, today rain and a gale blowing. Dreaming about the blues!
Beautiful silk, beautiful blue, and beautiful you. You look very happy in Japan.
thank you Kristin – yes, I was very happy in Fujino.
