making progress
more student weaving
Marion was really pleased to finish
she wove a very nice scarf and had enough warp left to do some sampling
after a few crossed warp threads Joanne is on her way
she is under pressure to finish her tea towel for our weaving exchange
looking good!
I finished the cushions, washed and stitched
ready for the studio tour this weekend
with another warp on and weaving
handspun 2 ply wool, natural dyes – except the green, the fibre was a commercial wool/silk blend
a blanket – don’t know what I was thinking!
in a rush, weaving while talking to people and I put on a warp the full width of the loom
which may be a little bit temperamental – fingers crossed.
oh well, it is good for stash busting.
that was a lot of hem stitching
this one is for me.
I love the natural fabric with the bright reddish-orange! What a beautiful weave. And you’re making a blanket? That sounds wonderful.
