Finnish weave in silk
a medium blue silk warp with a variety of silk wefts
I added an incidental warp thread between blocks
this is my sixth set of samples/projects in 2 1/2 months
scarves woven with a navy tussah silk and hand-spun multi-coloured silk
what’s next?
16/2 bleached linen
more woven shibori and of course, dyeing
this warp is longer – I need a break from warping and threading

I am always surprised by the amount of work that you can put into a short period, certainly not by the beauty of your weaving.

Blandina – the sampling and research that I’ve been doing just seems to grow and grow. New ideas keep coming and I don’t have a class this summer so more time for my stuff.
