last night was student “tea and tell” night
Ann’s first weaving on her own, M’s and O’s tea towels, well done!
fantastic treasures, her mother-in-law’s 110 year old tea towels, woven in Germany
more tea towels – Kathy’s marvellous colours, in Fibonacci stripes. Heather wants to wear them.
Heather’s shawl, so soft and subtle
I’ve been given 6 binders of exquisite samples, approximately 30, 6″ X 6″ woven samples in each binder
shared between the Cross Country Weavers from 1991 – 1996
there is nothing better than being able to feel actual samples
inspired by the samples, we will each use some of this 70/3 linen, weave something of our choosing – there is enough to go around! – and share the results
