reused, recycled blues
September 28, 2012
white and natural grey handspun, 2 ply wool
ready for blanket weaving this winter
using up the stash and I beat the moths to a dinner
I took apart 2 floor cushions, dyed the backs and the piping
and used shibori samples to sew new fronts
the samples were going to be kitchen napkins, now I will have to do more.
or maybe not!
it has been a very blue summer.

Blandina – I can never seem to keep gloves on, no need for nail polish.

i still smile when i remember your indigo disaster story. and i note a little “blue nails” happening in your world. (hopefully no more spills, though!)

Velma – I try not to remember that disaster and this 30 gallon vat is outside so no blue kitchen!
