this and that
August 16, 2012
it’s HOT! record-breaking. I’m not complaining but it is difficult to think.
the teasels are blooming
and the hardy cyclamen
sampling on the loom progressed
to a weft stripe pattern using natural dyed handspun silk singles (tsumugi)
I found a pair of huck weave linen bath towels at the consignment store – there was a parking spot with my name on it!
24″ X 41″ used but in beautiful condition, I’ve never seen linen towels this size with a fringed edge
and a border of lilies
here is 5 years of weaving condensed into 2 minutes, thanks Alice
I’m packing to go to Fibrations on Sunday, see you in the Orchard
