the sudoku piece was finished much more quickly than I expected

I have a few holes in my fingers but the stitching was enjoyable

with the sun shining through from the back the colours look like stained glass

now I have to decide where to go from here

finally finished the dreaded income tax and sent it off to the government. Now I can leave the country!

oh, yes. I’ll be in Fujino at the Japanese Textile Workshop April 15-25 and then north to Nagano ken to spend 2 weeks with my roommate from 6 months weaving at Kawashima textile School in 1987. I’m praying for warmer weather and no typhoons. Excitement level is rising!

I’ll take pictures of everything and write in my journal every day and keep samples of everything I can get my hands on! Of course you will have to do the same in Auz this summer.
