I try to use my natural dye pots until there is little or no colour left
sometimes I’m exhausted before they are!
woven shibori, cotton and linen. dyed with indigo, lac and lac topped dyed with indigo.
this linen napkin dyed very unevenly, possibly a long history of stains and washing powders
I over-dyed half of it in indigo
the Japanese silk scarf got the shibori treatment
and
the shibori on a rope had one last corner dyed, in all it was dyed 12 times.
no more dyeing until after Christmas.

my dyeing processes aren’t always soothing. I’m messy and just keep over-dyeing until I get something interesting. If you ever make it to the NW come and dye with me.

Good used of the dye pot. All lovely! I wasted my too much sometimes. I still have my indigo vat so must do some more dyeing with it – Hugs Nat
