autumn leaves

October 11, 2011

autumn colours always inspire me

another bojagi using some eco dyed napkins, stamped and stitched. I have a tiny ginko tree, started from a nut brought from Japan. It grows approximately 1/2 inch a year. In Japan there are magnificent, ancient ginko.

I love using my camera as a design tool, it “sees” with different eyes. More stitching to be done.

I started stamping because I wanted to put a design inside the books. But, if you’re going to make a mess might as while do a good job!

these will eventually be stitched into something.
