a perfect day

August 21, 2011

everything was perfect – except the cameralady got the settings wrong

sorry for the tech-no-colour

the weather was warm, slightly overcast with a gentle breeze

don’t think anyone was bonked on the head with an apple and the wasps stayed away

attendance was better than we dared dream

the set of beginner’s weaving lessons I donated for the loonie/toonie auction was won by a very excited young member of the Weaver’s Guild, I was delighted.

Thank you to everyone who came and to those who worked hard to make the event a great success.

the lessons are 6 – 2 hour lessons. most stay longer than the 2 hours and many take more than the 6. I have been very lucky with many students becoming very accomplished weavers and good friends, too.
