I’ve been grandmothering this week
at 10 years old, Carrie likes to thread the heddles.
she’s been weaving since age 5. This is a scarf for herself with enough warp for one for her Mom.
the chenille in the warp was what I space- dyed for her first baby blanket.
getting pretty good at knitting.

Your grand-daughter sits at her loom like I did for 7 years until a friend made me a stand. How nice to learn to weave at such a young age!

This gives me a wish to do some weaving. A very talented girl, these skills will be a point of strength in her adult life.
