taking time to think

on May 7th I measured off a linen warp, it was intended for towels, yardage and a bit extra for sampling. I don’t often pre-wind warps, because I sometimes (frequently) change my mind. When I started threading the heddles I decided the pattern wasn’t what I wanted. 

 

40/2 linen sett at 36 epi with a total of 618 ends is not something I want to play around with so it’s time to take a second look.

 

not sure what this will become but the afternoon was spent sitting in the sun — rethinking.
