only 4 weeks

April 18, 2011

thanks to all for the good wishes, the studio tour was quiet but I met some nice people, managed to get some weaving done and had several good sales so not complaining.

the tulips are blooming, even though there was frost on the roof this morning.

more x-rays this morning – with luck the cast comes off on

May 16th. Another 4 weeks!

Then I came home and did something nobody should ever do. I accidentally hit (very lightly) the jar of indigo stock solution. My apologies for the quality of the picture but…! There was indigo in the cupboards and drawers and just about everywhere else it could splash, drip or run. Try wringing out clean up cloths with one hand.

I would really like to change the colour of the kitchen but don’t think this is the way. Wonder if I can stay out of trouble for the next 4 weeks?

Breaks my heart to see all that beautiful indigo going all over the floor!

Giving new meaning to feeling blue.

OH NO!!!!! i have done the same thing, with a strong black walnut and with a rust solution, but neither in the kitchen (though boiled over pulp on the stove is my specialty).
