I escaped for a time from the garden that needs weeding, the lawns that need cutting and the piles of income tax papers and took a walk on the wild? side.

Ross Bay cemetery is 27.5 acres of old landscaping and lichen covered granite memorials. Bordered on one side by a shopping mall and the other by the ocean it is the final resting place for both infamous and illustrious pioneers, immigrants, politicians and captains of sea and industry. It is a cold and blustery day, the seagull was my only living company.

— and now back to the income tax.
