progress

the final warp for my coverlet is on the loom, this is a project that was never meant to be a major event but it has just kept growing. Now that all 9 squares are finished and being stitched together I’m weaving a border for around the outside.

The pattern is Dornik twill on 8 harnesses and with a red stripe where the twill changes direction. I will double it back to finish off the wrong side.

Before I weave too much of the 10 yards I need to have some idea of what it will look like.  Looks good.
