there was a treadling mistake in one of the napkins that just came off the loom. As it is a napkin and both sides will be seen and as it was for one of the other participants it needed to be fixed.
the mistake was in the tabby (plain weave) weft which only required that I needle weave under and over 30 ends per inch for 22 inches.
a couple of hours later and some eye strain and it is fixed. When I’m weaving and before winding forward I check the underside of the weaving with a mirror. Because the colour of the pattern yarn is similar to the background thread I missed the mistake.
Will try not to do that again. Mistakes happen no matter how long you’ve been doing something.
